Russian Film Week 2019
A week of UK premieres and packed masterclasses with Danila Kozlovsky and Vladimir Khotinenko.
The 2019 edition ran from 24 November to 1 December with a programme of UK premieres and Q&As — Text with Alexander Petrov and director Klim Shipenko, A Russian Youth, Van Goghs with Sergey Livnev, Abigail with Ravshana Kurkova, and Convoy 48 with Fedor Popov among them.
The masterclass strand filled a historic West End theatre: actor-director Danila Kozlovsky closed the festival on 1 December, and director Vladimir Khotinenko spoke two days earlier, both to capacity audiences.
